Our speaker was Paul Jeter, Executive Director, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, SC Chapter, along with Amy Harmon, School and Youth Director. 

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society was founded in 1949.   It is a $3,000,000 organization with Chapters in all states and Canada.  The Society supports research and works to improve quality of life for patients.   It also helps with expenses during treatment.   The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society helps update medical professionals and patients to make sure all have up to date information.

Bill Kopelman also spoke to the group.   He gave a brief review of his last 2 years battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

Paul Harris Fellow was presented to Bill Kopelman.
